Brewer's Kitchen is an awesome addition to the Midtown area in KC and is locally owned, which we love. The food is wonderful (all made from scratch), beer list is exceptional, and the service was top notch. The owner, Chris, made a point to come and talk to each table and introduce himself, which we thought was very nice. They've recently expanded with outdoor patio seating and the atmosphere was cool. Will definitely be back soon!
This is a great local restaurant. Everything is made from scratch. The owner actually built much of the restaurant himself, from tables to the long wooden benches and even to the art that hangs on the walls. It's all a labor of love and it shows. His staff genuinely care that guests are happy. We are. I ordered the Early Riser Burger with Fresno Peppers and Drunken Mustard. It was incredible. I can't wait to go back and try more items.
Good atmosphere and nice place to be on warm day when they put the garage doors up. Just went for happy hour food and drinks. Fries came with 3 different sauces for $2, definitely a good deal. Good selection of beers as well. The only issue was the service. Nobody came by for a good 20 minutes. When we finally flagged someone down, she said our waiter had to take a break because he hadn't taken one all day. He didn't give us a heads up or send anyone else over. Then after she brought us our next round, we still didn't have either of them come by for another 20 minutes while we waited to grab our tab.
Nice place with good atmosphere. Wonderful beer selection in a great location. Discovered through the Pub pass thing. Food was delightful, best i have enjoyed in a while. Great service and will definitely be back.
I do believe I just ate the juiciest chicken sandwhich in Kansas City.
A welcoming new place has soft-opened in the neighborhood. A tight operation indeed, I met the owner Chris, who was extremely enthusiastic about his new digs. And rightfully so. A small, tight menu done well is all you need.
The build-your-own Burger (with a bison option I believe) is nice. And cooked with beer, thus the clever name. I opted for chicken and it dripped with juice, pickles, and sweet onions. The fries are the bomb with a ketchup I meant to ask about. ?
Friendly server and excellent iced tea on a warm day makes for a 5 star rating indeed.
