Always loved this place, but they changed their famous tomato basil soup...way too spicy. My friend couldn't eay hers. Hope they change it back.

This is our local go-to restaurant when we need to relax and up with each other - which is often. We’re always greeted warmly by the owner and staff. We love that they have specials. And we feel valued by the way they remember our favorite table and cocktails, which are superb. The food is always good, and the ambience is small, cozy, casual but very nice. High recommendations for this neighborhood eatery!

My wife and I love coming here on cool evenings. We enjoy decaff coffee and dessert by the fire.they have the best lemon cake, and peacan pie. They also have homemade ice cream for the warmer nights.

Delicious. It's quite out of the way for me and any of my errands but it'll be worth going back. The pastry case was pretty bare when I got there around noon I think, which is a shame, but that seems to be this city.

This is easily one of Kansas City's classic Staples. It's really popular with the blue-haired crowd, but that shouldn't stop you from going there. It's wonderfully old world with a passionate staff that cares an awful lot about their product. It's really great to see the classic techniques of The Culinary world not going to waste!
