Definitely not worth the prices. Steak and Eggs were way too expensive for mediocre eggs and a pretty crummy steak. Cheap steak is fine but the sauce they put on it was unappetizing. Unique restaurant but they try and be good at too many things. Wont be returning.

Valentine's Day -- a night we usually avoid going out. This year my wife and I got a reservation at Rye a couple weeks early just to be different.

Wow. So good tonight. Every single item was outstanding. Goat cheese appetizer is amazing. We shared our two entries, salmon and pork ribs, and both were perfect. My wife was still talking about the salmon on the way home. Brussels sprouts and mac & cheese as sides, both of which we've had several times, and these might have been the best batches ever. Finished with a new choice for us, the chocolate pudding cake. Holy sh*t., amazing.

Rye seems to have somehow gotten better, and we have always loved it.

Good food and nice menu options were available for lunch. The crispy thick-coated fried chicken was delicious. Our server was friendly, but the restaurant had no concept of sharing an item. My friend and I asked to share a wedge salad. One salad on one plate was set in front of me. Banquette seating is close, and two men having a business lunch next to us asked to start by splitting a bowl of soup. One bowl and spoon were set in front of one man. They asked for it to be returned and put in two bowls. At the end of our meal we asked to split a piece of lemon meringue pie. Of course one piece on one plate with one fork was delivered. The pie was rich with a marshmallow meringue toasted on top with a drizzle of caramel sauce. Ambiance is a little noisy. We had an 11:30am reservation, and plenty of seating was open. At noon probably 75 per cent of the restaurant was filled.

I had an amazing lunch with my friend. We got the fried chicken which was perfectly cooked, unbelievably crispy and so juicy. I enjoyed everything on my plate. I’m also a huge fan of the bakery at Rye. The apple pie is off the charts. It not only looks like a work of art but it tastes phenomenal. You can tell by the quality of their food that they really care about what they put on their plates. It is a bit on the pricey side but they have really good specials. The staff is always so friendly and helpful throughout the service. Lovely people, lovely food and one of the best restaurants in the plaza.

Food was great, service was quick and they were able to accommodate our toddler daughter. We sat outside and had a nice view of the fountain. A little on the expensive side but location was well worth it.
