We had the most scrumptious meal that was perfectly prepared and served. Every dish is so carefully designed, both to taste wonderful and to look beautiful. The servers make dining out at Freshwater such a treat and everyone makes you feel welcomed and special. Vegetarian's will find lots of options both on the regular menu and as specially prepared options by the chef. Love, love, love this place!!!!

One of our new favorite KC places! Excellent menu for foodies and service was outstanding. We got a last minute spot on a Sat night with no reservations in kitchen with a view outside on a snowy winter's night. Perfect ambiance. Even with a full house, we had one of the best service experiences yet in KC.

No reservation on a Saturday night. Stopped in to see if they had an open spot. They were full but made space for us. We sat at a table in the bar area. I felt everyone really went out of their way to provide a great experience, especially considering we walked in last minute. The food is really good and the menu has a broad selection of great options. Several people checked on us regularly. The bartender, I think his name is Marlin was great with recommendations for drinks and food. This was our second visit and we were both very pleased. There are several great independent restaurants in KC, what makes this one stand out is the combination of great food, drinks, exceptional service, and a very reasonably priced menu. Im comfortable recommending it and we will go back.

We did the 10 course small plates menu, they took care of our dietary restrictions, everything we tried was incredible. Great mixture of tastes and types of food. Service was polite and dutiful.

I heard that they will accommodate diet restrictions so my wife and I got the 10 course tasting but vegan and gluten free. (But they have meat options as well.)

I was skeptical that they would really accommodate my request ... and make it taste good.

Whoah! Freshwater surpassed my expectations. Every dish was amazing. Flavorful but not over spiced or heavy or bland.

I highly recommend this restaurant. Seriously. It is truly amazing. I took photos of each course.

I’m am happily full but not stuffed. The staff was friendly.
