Garozzo's Downtown

Very well known place in the city. Delicious food and great atmosphere. Everything was so good. We started with the meatballs that just melt in your mouth and the sauce is just too good. Can't wait to another date night to bring us back!

Outstanding food! A great Italian food restaurant is hard to find in KC but this is it. And while the small restaurant is somewhat off of the main streets in downtown KC, the food and service is well worth the effort. We dined on a Sunday evening when a 50% off special on bottles of wine was available. BUT, be sure to make a reservation as the place was full with an hour wait when we arrived. Luckily, we snagged two seats at the bar for our dining experience and thoroughly enjoyed the evening with Sean, our server/bartender, and new friends sitting beside us.

Wonderful atmosphere, top-notch food, and authentic in every way. We come here often for both dine-in and pick-up, and they are consistent and reliable. The music, decor, and overall ambiance always makes us feel like we are walking into a romantic Italian grotto. My personal favorite order is the house salad, but I am sure there is something on the menu for everyone. One of our favorite restaurants!

When I tell you this was the absolute best experience I had in a restaurant. I mean it. The hostess was so kind, the waitress was 5 STAR! She was the absolute nicest women I have ever met. My glass was NOT half empty one single time. I ordered gluten free pasta and when I say it was worth every dime, I mean it. I had no problems after eating their gluten free dish. The waitress had said the dish my friend ordered was her favorite and we completely understand why. Each bite had a different flavor. This was just in all a 10/10 experience. And our waitress definitely helped make it that way. Will be going back to try the gnocchi next time. And to ask for the server we had yesterday. I wish I caught her name, but she was about 35-40 years old. Beautiful accent and long brown hair.

Amazing food and great customer service! Who could ask for more? I frequent this restaurant for not only dine in but also carryout. I have had them cater a get together and everything has been awesome!
