Excellent Locally Owned Restaurant. They give you homemade Chips and French Onion Dip that is the best. Plus they have a menu that appeals to everyone. It is safe and ready to serve and is taking all the precautions for C-19. I will definitely go back and recommend it to anyone who wants an great meal or just a casual drink and support a local business.
Just wanted to say that 7 family members ate there today. The service and friendliness of the staff far exceeded any that we have experienced in a long time. The wait staff was extremely attentive and did their best to please. Food was great as well. We will definitely be back!
It's been years, I mean 10 plus..
Since I have been to Michael Forbes. My early experience was not so great to bring me back.
So someone who knew I was wanting Catfish (lent,) suggested Michael Forbes. Atmosphere and Ambiance is very good. Staff, front door very good and wait staff, Lucas was very attentive and exceeded what you would want from good service.
Offered us an appetizer on the house with our drinks (chips and onion dip). Then brought us very nice homemade rolls, nice and warm. He kept an eye on our table and looked after our needs. The meal was served, whole catfish which was deboned at the table. Catfish was excellent. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience and meal.
Will return.
Absolutely the best Greek salad ever. Wings were really good as well. Our server made sure we had a fresh keg tap when a Stella was marginal and she replaced it. Great neighborhood place.
Great comfortable atmosphere and good service made our Saturday afternoon visit a treat. The wine and beer list was interesting and extensive. The menu is varied and certainly not run of the mill. We enjoyed the chorizo corn chowder, Hollywood sandwich, and the tacos. We will definitely be making a return visit to this charming spot.
