Princess Garden

After reading a lot of amazing reviews, we finally decided to try this neighborhood spot tonite. We ordered to go, ready in 25 minutes! And they were ready for me. They came out and greeted me at my car, promptly took my payment and very shortly I was on my way home with a giant box of food!

We tried the crab Rangoon after reading so many rave reviews, and so glad we did. They were hot, crispy and full of delicious gooey, cheesy filling.

We also tried the Spicy Green Beans - do NOT miss these. They beans were fried until lightly blistered, sautéed with sliced garlic and green onion. I couldn't stop eating them!!

But onto the entrees. I got the cashew chicken after seeing a yummy photo - and the photo didn't do it justice. Tons of cashews and very tender chicken.

Our other entree was the Crispy Orange Duck. My boyfriend couldn't wait for this - although with so many duck items on the menu it was hard to choose. He was thrilled with the duck. Crispy, boneless pieces of duck and chopped up veggies in the fragrant orange sauce, plus they made it without onion for him.

Can not wait to finish all the leftovers we have and then try more menu items soon!!

You can definitely see why they've been in business for over 50 years!

The most pleasant owner and his wait staff was fabulous,the General Tso's chicken was real pieces of chicken,the garlic sauce was heavenly,and the Crab Rangoon was done perfectly...well worth the 50 bucks we spent!
Freshest Asian food I've ever eaten

This place is a neighborhood treasure. If you live in South KC, Prairie Village, you have to try Princess Garden. The owners and employees are super fun and nice. Great crab rangoon, I'm never disappointed with my menu choice. I really like the duck dishes. And if you dine in, you should try the cocktails.

I just devoured a great article by Nina Yun on the Eater site. I’d like to thank the Chang family for their hard work through the years and for upholding Chinese cuisine for area residents. I doubt I will be in Missouri in this lifetime but my parents would enjoy this place as they only eat Chinese food ????

One of my friend recommended Princess Garden for my wedding catering. They have been popular about catering. They are best wedding catering in town. Princess Garden was very passionate and enthusiastic. They had all kind of linens color choice. They provide all kind of services including bar service. They listened to their customers and very cool to deal with whatever you request. Food is amazing. Our food was served hot and perfect eventhough it was 17F outside.
