Shark Bar

Brought 11 ladies for a bachelorette party and loved it! We knew every song that played (80s-2000s pop and alt rock). Black lights illuminate guests and the beach themed decor. A large dance floor boasts two raised runways if you're feeling the catwalk. A few of us purchased the the Shark Bar large cups that had discounted cocktail refills and could be taken to other clubs in the district. Heads up, the pre-made cocktails are SO SUGARY. We did enjoy the multiple bars, fully stocked with pretty bar tenders in their scantily clad beach babe "uniforms." The balcony allowed a great view of the district center square, including the big screen that played the real-time Royals game. My most impressed moment came from our attempt to leave with glass bottles and the security quickly flagging us down to transfer the alcohol into a disposable plastic cup before we continued our journey.

Fun place for friends or co-workers to chill and enjoy themselves. Drinks are great. I enjoy the happy hour invites ????

Queer Bar Takeover #QBTKC chooses a traditionally straight bar and takes it over on the second Saturday of each month. The Shark bar at Power & Light were great partners. Their staff, and DJ were extremely welcoming to our group of 150+ participants with great drink specials and lots of great music to dance the night away. Thank you Shark Bar for being such an amazing Queer allies and continuing to create a more inclusive world.

Great atmosphere and music, from 80s to pop music. just watch out for the creepy regular guys.
