I've been going here for years, it just makes me very happy to be there in terms of the food is always fresh, the food is always filling, and it's just very comforting. Everybody who is there who runs the place and everything have always been kind and sweet to me especially on time was when I really needed the comfort and security of something familiar and warm. It's an easy going atmosphere, fit for meals solo, with friends, family, or a date.

Taj Mahal KC is the best Indian restaurant in town- HANDS DOWN!! Their portions are large and the staff is uber friendly! Quality made food at a reasonable price. If you dine in, they give you chapati with different chutneys on the house. Delicious! They are busy but I promise you it’s worth the wait. I drive all the way from Overland Park, KS and pass up many “Indian” restaurants to get to this hidden gem tucked away on Wornall and 75th. I really wish they would open a second location in Overland Park but no matter what I will continue to make the drive. Oh and I almost forgot to mention, this restaurant is clean which is very important to me. Glasses and plates are always spotless. You can enjoy your food knowing they care about cleanliness. -Happy Customer

The crew & staff are all attentive, kind & courteous people. Our pal Andy runs an amazingly great place, and I was just this moment thinking of stopping in for lunch today....till I realized we couldn’t dine in, at this time. First time visit! The service and the cuisine was extraordinary. The table setting was classy and attractive. I was greeted upon walking in and seated immediately. I was served water in a wine glass and attended to like royalty.

The food ... the food was scrumptious. My first consuming traditional Indian comestibles. I ordered shrimp and chicken curry. The flavors exploded in my mouth, spicy but not overly hot. The homemade garlic bread was a treat. It was light, flaky, and with the perfect hint of butter and garlic. ????????????????????????????????????
