We came here because another jazz club was closed. I am SO glad that we did! The food and service was Impeccable!
The jazz band playing this evening were skilled and entertaining. The staff were so hospitable and helpful, this will be my permanent jazz destination in the future.
The fried catfish was juicy with the crisp finish and the wings are to die for! Thank you, other jazz venue, for allowing me to explore this diamond in the rough! ❤️

I'm a fan of the Juke. I'd like to perform there for Juneteenth. A community concert with a ton of local faves. Also, a talent show... the winner of the talent show gets to open for the concert. I work with HIV Prevention for KC Care Health Center. Ambassador for the HIMM Project. I'd like to do something different essentially... and I have the means to do them

The table service was somewhat lacking but the waitress was nice. It took a while to get our food. We ordered the wings and fries and they were good. The entertainment was good. I would have given a 4 rating if the waitresses would have been a little more attentive. By the way bottle water costs the same as a case of water $4.

I enjoyed the atmosphere. People were dancing the Kansas City two step. The crowd was grown and sexy. I don't drink much but my go to is Crown Royal Apple when I'm looking for a quick buzz for courage to dance. I ordered two double shots on the rocks...nothing. $36 dollars with no buzz made me think it was watered down or the pour was not correct. I talked with management who gave me a shot neat on the house. Took a pic of it drank it of course and did not get on the dance floor. Lol. Anyway, the place is cool just have a couple of drinks before getting there and take an uber. Problem solved.
