I'm trying real hard to like The Savory but it's just not working for me! First time there was with a group of four or so and we waited and waited for service before we finally got up and left. This was on a weekday in the late afternoon/early evening.

Had great service this time but honestly my drink was sub-par. Visited late on a Saturday night. I was excited for the Whiskey Sour made properly with egg white but I'm unable to figure out what went wrong. My table mates liked their drinks and had a few.

I love the redesign of the hotel (have been to several events and tours of the space). I like what they did to keep the tradition of the Savoy. It's accessible, as are restrooms. There's ample street parking. Restrooms are gender specific. Staff was masked for pandemic cautions.

In KC for an evening and where do you start but at the Savoy for cocktails! Sitting at the bar and looking to eft into that beautiful stain glass window, truly an artistic statement about this museum hotel.
Don't forget the turquoise penguins that seem to be everywhere in this upscale eatery!

Came here for dinner (specifically the burger). Ate at the bar, enjoyed lots of good cocktails, an amazing burger, friendly bartender conversation... it was a wonderful experience and I'll be back! Obviously the hotel has a wonderful gallery of art to enjoy as well. Love the history of the hotel, the restaurant has a great old time vibe and I'm so happy that they have kept it that way!

The happy hour cocktails left a lot to be desired in options, though the food was good. Credit to the bartender Alexandra, she knew her stuff and was personable. Sadly that's enough to make up for a dark but not quite cozy feel and high prices.

Very impressed. The entire meal was outstanding and the service was excellent. Every course was bursting with flavor. The ambience is a little strange when you walk in - it's very dark. Read up on the history before you go. The building dates back to 1890 and they maintain a lot of the original look of the room. Presidents and millionaires of past sat in this same room. Next door there is a free art gallery that you can walk through. Great place for date night.
