Hy-Vee Market Grille Express

Although the menu has changed and seating is limited the burger was still one of the best in town. Sad to see this establishment retreat. PS Jennifer was an excellent server.

So the few times I've been to the market grille have been a little lack luster. This past time was a little rough. My wife and I both ordered the BBQ chicken sandwich and a simple sushi roll. We both thought our chicken was overcooked and dry. The sushi roll didn't arrive for almost 20 minutes after we got our sandwiches. The staff was friendly and apologized for the wait but still annoying.

Very cool. Wonderful selection of entrees, cocktails and beers. Not loud like many restaurants-- quite comfortable in all aspects. Cole, our waiter, was perfect-- attentive, pleasant, and anticipated what we would want, even though this was our first time there. And, best of all, the prices were lower than we expected! Definitely want to go back for half-price sushi some Wednesday night!

I had great service from Heather today and all the food was great at breakfast. They give you a cup of donut holes instead of rolls or biscuits, which I can totally get behind. The French toast melt was an incredible thing, the sweet and savory covered in raspberry or syrup was delicious. The texicana benedict was quite an interesting mix between Mexican food and a benedict. The egg wasn't runny which was a little disappointing, but still delicious anyways. 10/10 would recommend visiting.
