Paul's Drive In

For an amazing pork tenderloin, Paul's Drive-In is definitely the place. I have gone there for years and have always enjoyed the food and the service. I am offering a high rating based on my usually great experience. On May 23, 2020, I had my first unfortunate treatment of poor service. I requested extra sauce on the side, as is my usual practice. In checking the sack, the sauce was not included. I informed the young lady at the window who informed me 'she' said she put it in the sack. I offered the sack back to her to allow her to check and confirm it was not in the sack. She responded that 'she' said she would just give me another one and it was not that serious. I did explain that it actually was serious to me to have what I requested and wished her a good day. Her only response was given in facial expressions.

This is the best burger place worked here as a kid and still can say no to the food. Great cooks put in great effort and very nice people in the windows. Can't wait to dine in again

Would rate higher. Been wanting to stop here for quite some time and today was the day. The inside of the joint was clean. I could tell that the fries and tots were cooked in clean oil. I had bacon burger and what was left of the wife's tenderloin. Real bacon cooked real nice and the flavor was top notch. The tenderloin was also amazing. There are only a handful of places I have found in KC like Paul's. If you like a certain amount of grease you won't be disappointed by this spot. It really is one of the few places like it left. The last of a dying breed. Will make it a place to eat at least once a month.

This place is more than worth driving from anywhere in the country or the world for that matter if you love pork tenderloin sandwiches and/or onion rings. These onion rings are the absolute best in all that I have ever eaten!
