“I stopped in at La Cabana today to try it out. I was very pleased. The waiter was friendly and efficient, the food came out quickly and was exceptional. I had a chicken chimichanga plate. I could taste the lemon and spices in the chicken, the guacamole salad with pico was wonderful and the beans and rice were very good. I did have to ask for hot sauce even though the salsa was great. They brought out homemade. Nothing beats a good salsa with cilantro. A soccer game was playing on the TV. and the atmosphere was like being in Mexico. The whole place was clean as a pin and that’s high praise coming from a retired fancy restaurant manager.”

“Just happened to be driving by with my family and we decided to stop. It sort of looked like a sports bar at first. We sat for supper and were pleasantly surprised by pretty much everything. We had great food at a good price, served by very nice people. The place and bathrooms were clean with good parking. Not much more I could ask for.”

“I didn't know they closed as early as they did and went in about 30 minutes till close on a Sunday. The lady working was very polite and didn't seem annoyed that I was in so close to closing time. My basic iced mocha coffee was absolutely delicious! I'm sad I didn't get a bigger size, but I will when I go again. There will be a next time for sure!”

“We recently visited this location for a birthday dinner. The staff allowed is to pull tables together and bring in a cake. Even though we had several people in our party, our orders were ready very quickly and were all correct. The food was great and so was the staff. As an addes bonus they offer free vanilla soft served ice cream for dessert. We were highly satisfied!”

“Great little bar! We went there for the first time for extreme midget wrestling and had a really good time. We got there pretty early to check the place out, both the regular customers and folks working there were welcoming and friendly. Bartender was so nice, and drinks were perfect! Prices were good, menu choices great also. Great little place.”

“First time to a Slim Chickens and man I wish we had this place in San Antonio. I had a wrap with fries and it was perfect, the food far exceeded my expectations for being a fast food joint. The fries were cooked perfectly with good seasoning and a good crunch to them. Next time I'm near a slim chickens I'll definitely stop by. I only put 4 stars because the service wasn't to great. Girl looked like she was in High School and cut me off a few times while ordering my food.”

“I never thought I would have to go to Lebanon, MO for good Mexican food, yet this happened. Not the usual refried beans, covered in cheese, Americanized version. This meal was authentic and quite a wonderful surprise. The staff was great as well. We had just ordered drinks and got an emergency phone call which required us to leave for almost an hour. We told them we would be back. When we returned, we found our table just as we had left it. Our waitress brought us our drinks and it was as if we never left. A truly delightful experience.”
