“I want to first say that it is a descent meal. I had the "Totchos" and daughter had the Buffalo Nachos. For me, the BBQ sauce was a bit sweet. But that's me. A bit sweeter than Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce. I WILL come back and try the pulled pork sandwich. My daughter liked hers also. But she said it was a bit too much Buffalo sauce. She will order it again but with the sauce on the side. We both got sour cream, but I guess it's their version of it. Seemed to be a mix of sour cream and ranch. Taste more ranch than sour cream. I would recommend if you're in the area.”

“Food and service were both good. I had the Bourbon Glazed Burger with house chips. Fresh patty, not frozen and was cooked to perfection. One of the better burgers I’ve had. Kids had chicken fried steak, green beans, and corn. They both said it had good taste. Husband had the open faced roast beef. Taste was good but could have used more gravy as the meat was a little dry. He certainly could’ve asked for more but did not. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because it smells like cigarette smoke from the bar side.”

“Nice to have a '"real" BBQ joint that's local. Brisket was melt in your mouth tender, moist, yet still held up when sliced. Not an easy task. Small but acceptable sauce selection that is both great and unique. The North Carolina vinegar is second to none that I've had in a restaurant. Beans were also both different and great. Anxious to go back and try whatever's available for the day. Heads up, BBQ is served fresh and when it's gone it's gone so don't be surprised if certain items on the menu aren't available. This isn't Bandana's. Fries left a bit to be desired. I'll blame the daytime cooks, because the man pulling the all nighters to cook the meat obviously knows his stuff. Will up to 5 if the fries are better next time.”

“Great little place that we love to grab a bite from. And NOW they renovated and have pool tables and no smoking! It's still the local dive, but upscale. Loving the improvements!”

“I like Anchor's Restaurant but just a heads up...don't go on a hot day because their air conditioning doesn't keep up that we'll with the hot weather. But this last visit was good it wasn't that hot outside so it was comfortable in the restaurant. The food is always good and you get what you're money's worth. The staff is always friendly so over all I think it is a good place to eat at here in Lincoln County.”

“This is a great place to grab a bite. The server was attentive, and the food came out in a timely fashion. Inside furnishings are a bit dated, but the food is good enough to get you back for more. I will definitely be back!”

“I like the ultra thin crust, you have to ask for it. I've had the Trainwreck and the meat lovers both were very good. We also like the toasted ravioli.”
