18 Wheeler Restaurant

Food was typical diner style, Waiter was amazing. There was a questionable moment when the boss/ woman talking loud with an echo about the business being behind and yelling on the phone about not closing down the restaurant. Other then that the booth had soft seating.

My coworker and I had gotten the Hashstack with extra gravy and it was real yummy. As travelers it's rare to find a decent reasonable meal and this one was delish.

Kinda blah. Service was excellent. Atmosphere was a bit rundown... not really sure what was going on. I'd have thought they were in the middle of renovations if anything was new, but it was just very plain.

My Chicken Fried Steak dinner - meat was very small, and I think it might have been crispy when it was first pulled from the fryer, but it was covered with SO much gravy, it was very soggy. The gravy and mashed potatoes were about the same consistency so I really don't know how much of either I had on the other side of my plate. Vegetables were canned and very overcooked.

My daughter's Chicken Alfredo was ok, other than it was too oily and the meat was canned.

Overall, it filled us up and we got back on the road. Wouldn't seek them out again.

I feel a little guilty giving a poor review since the staff were so friendly, but the food was not good. Sorry!!

Good facilities. Very clean. But no water in window washing dispensers and gas was ten cents above competitors. However, I was able to walk my dogs, get gas, use their facilities and pick up some snacks, so I'm a happy camper.

Mozzarella sticks were a bit smaller than I thought they would be but were delicious just the same. The staff was friendly and speedy. Looked a bit dingy but smelled amazing. Food looked absolutely mouth watering, I can't wait to go back for another taste. Also, they have a smoking room for smokers so that the smoke doesn't interfere with non smokers and their meals much to my delight.
