“Just a couple of locals stopping in to see what was going on. Not much of a greeting walking in. We decided to look at them with a questioning glance to discover "set where you like" only you don't know all the options so we ended up moving after setting down. Ordered two old fashioneds and they tasted completely different. One was too sweet, the other was probably on par but hard to tell drinking it out of plastic. An $11 drink should be served in glass, but hey that's just my opinion. Having no cocktail menu should have been the first clue, but this place probably doesn't want to be known for good cocktails. Point taken, we won't come back for a drink. The food selection is short, but the food was good. Chicken sandwich was fresh, hot, and tasty. Homemade chips were good as was the fries. Lots of seasoning. The waitresses was cute, and friendly but forgetful. Lots of tvs inside but only had two channels going on all. Good place for a quick bite and beer. Needs a little more vision to make it on the strip in our opinions. Good luck Cuddy.”

“We have been looking for a great Italian Restaurant at the lake after looking for years and we finally found it. I am in a wheelchair and I was greeted at door because she seen us coming to help me in door. Then we were seated fast and our server was very knowledgeable of the menu and very attentive. Everything is Homemade and you can tell that in the taste. Very pleased….. we have now found our only Italian spot at the lake. We live 1hr away on other side of lake and the trip was totally worth it.”

“Joey's Pizza really surprised me. We got the Veggie Salad and a custom Artichoke, Pepperoni, and Pineapple pizza. The crust was great and had such great flavor, a short soft dough. You can really tell the difference between a chewy frozen crust compared to this homemade dough! The staff was brightly happy and really inviting. Our waitor expedited our order in a strong lead to the kitchen, hoping that continues. They also asked us how everything was, leading into him letting us know his family owned and operated it. The restaurant is a "cool downtown of small town USA" vibe. Don't be concerned by any rough edges, the food and service is worth parallel parking, or getting lucky enough to park in their mini parking lot. I'm only leaving this review all 5 stars because I think the food outshines esthetic, but the inside I think needed a little love. -it may have been issues with their heating or vent fan because it was in the restaurant to be installed(it looked like it) ***** I'd say this gem in the cute little lakeside town really is bringing a refreshing welcome after a long road trip.”

“What a GREAT place! Took my family there and couldn't get over how neat this place is! They tore down some old buildings and built The Saloon! The service was excellent as well as the food! Plenty of parking for even semi's! Seems there is some great plans for the future like a petting zoo and some outdoor games! I will definetly be back. Sorry Dave! “The first review of this establishment including mine, are all people visiting on or right after it’s grand opening. It takes time to get a place perfect. I originally wasn’t a fan of wahlburgers frozen Patties but after having a burger in person I can say they make the SECOND BEST BURGER AT THE LAKE. The price is high if you expect McDonald’s prices. This is fast casual, not fast food. Well worth the 10 minute wait. Adult Milkshakes, Specialty Made-To-Order Burgers, Amazing Salads and Sides.”
