    This is becoming a favorite place to come for a visit with friends and family. The food is great and the pastries are fabulous. The turnovers taste fresh literally 4 days after purchasing them. You have to try it out. The owners are super friendly and make you feel at home. But come early if you was pastries. They go fast!

    I love coming here! It's like coming home and being with family. The food is amazing quality and the drinks are made to order. Would recommend visiting Louisiana MO just for this experience.

    JUST. GO. HERE. My husband and i were up early...6:30...and actually walked the half mile in 20 degree weather just to enjoy the scenery and fresh air...when we came across The Donut Shop.....we were VERY pleasantly surprised by the biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, limitless hot coffee...and THE BEST DONUTS I HAVE EVER EATEN. SERIOUSLY. Also, the owners (who also do all the cooking/waiting tables/cashiering, etc. are FANTASTIC. Ed (the kindly gentleman who restored the 200+ year old building) served up the food with coffee and a smile...he told wonderful stories and was very knowledgeable about the history of the town and area and gave us good advice on where to sight-see next. Help support this LOCAL ESTABLISHMENT. the food was great. the donuts were out of this world DELICIOUS....AND the service and friendliness was 5 star all the way!
