The Eagle's Nest Winery, Inn & Bistro

This was a nice place. I have it for stars because it's an upscale place which is really not my thing. That being said, it was nice and food items we had were appropriate for the decor of the place. Light and earthy feeling. If you are into the healthy, upscale locations, this might be the place for you. The menu is fairly limited but they did seem to have several options for wine if you are interested.

We enjoyed eating the lunch special in the winery and the pastry was the best we have had in years. The French table cloths we're great.

Had Lunch in the winery portion and it was good. pleasantly well prepared and well plated with good options available. While we waited for lunch we did a little wine tasting and the wine is still as good as we remembered. This is my favorite little gem on the river with a great scenic road to follow, which I highly recommend driving along on the way to this place.

Charming restaurant in an out-of-the-way but sweet little town. Staff was very hospitable and welcomed you like a local. Loved the beer garden which is apparently a work in progress - it will be great when it's finished.

If you're going to Hannibal, skip some of the tourist kitsch and eat and/or have a drink here.
