Dickey's Barbecue Pit

We just ate here and LOVED IT! There were 5 of us that got a variety of food. Everything was so good. I personally had the pulled pork with coleslaw and Original BBQ Sauce. I also had Baked Potato Casserole and Mac n cheese. So glad we stopped on our way across the country.

Love it here!! The owners are always so friendly and the food is delicious! Highly recommend!

It's ok for a quick barbecue meal thay do have free ice cream sometimes it is a bit warm inside the seating area

Average, the chopped beef was lacking in seasoning and surprisingly smoke. The original and sweet sauces were both pretty good thankfully. The okra was championed as a “local favorite” but it’s the same you get everywhere else and is nothing special. I would try this again because it’s promising but I’d try different items to order.

The jalapeño sausage here is absolutely fantastic, as are the hot wings. The brisket leaves much to be desired however. I would love it to be less dry, it’s extremely dry it seems as if they leave none of the juices in the meat which is rather disappointing. The staff is always polite and courteous and a joy to deal with, the food is always fresh, hot and delicious. I just wish there was more juice in the brisket. Also don’t forget there’s free ice cream.
