Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers

Great service for what they have to work with. All the employees were very nice and well spoken.

Freddy's has long been one of my favorites. The burgers are the very thin steakburger style, so a double is filling but not overwhelming. There are many different toppings you can get and they don't cook your burger until you order it so it's always hot. Fries are very thin shoestring potatoes with a very mild seasoning that is very pleasant to the taste. They also have hot dogs which I've never had (not a huge fan of hot dogs) but my adult son days they're always good. He gets them no e out of 10 times we go there. A batch of the Frozen Custard is constantly being made and always tastes fresh as can be. I've literally never had a bad sundae, cup or cone, but the pumpkin spice blend they serve in the fall is worth it's own trip.

Living close by to this Freddy's, hearing the hype, and it being my first one I was excited about trying it out. Well after three attempts I can say, no thanks. My first trip, two weeks after they opened, was fantastic. The burger had the perfect amount of juice each bite and the fries had that soft yet semi crunchy taste. The last two trips have been awful and nothing like the first. The burgers were very dry with barely any meat left on what seemed to be a crispy piece of rubber. I posted pictures from my latest trip and unfortunately they don't do it justice. My wife tried some fries and laughed at me. "Well, don't go back" she said. I couldn't agree more.
