The food is good BUT please tell your counter person she should be wearing a mask, especially when interacting with instore customers AND drive thru guests! Gloves are fine but please comply with these phase 1 rules.
Delicious tacos! This drive thru restaurant in northern KC near Barry Road is billed as a Mexican restaurant but has a nice variety of menu items (zoom in on the pic of the counter). They are famous for their tacos, which are fried and come with powdered nacho cheese on top. Definitely worth trying! They also have what they call pocket burgers, which are steamed buns filled with beef and mustard and pickles and onions, are also delicious! There is plenty of seating inside this location, along with two corner TVs which are often tuned into sports. It’s a great place to stop before or after heading to the airport which is less than a 10 minute drive away! Worth trying and the staff are very friendly!
Food is great you eat it fresh. We made the mistake of getting take out and eating at home. If you go through the drive thru. Stop and eat your taco in the Parking lot. Love the deep fried taco with powder cheese. We also love the deep fried pickles and mushrooms. We make these at home so we understand how hard they are to make and appreciate when the process is done right. Plus it is nice to bot have to clean up the fryer oil.
Fast, friendly. And FRESH! always made to order. Love coming her. Locally owned!
Tacos & onion rings? This was not at all what I expected when I chose this place. I chose it because of decent ratings on Google maps but mainly because they support a cycling team. I went inside to get a better feel for the offerings and the order taker was very helpful. I had a standard taco and a beef, bean and cheese taco; both really good but the one with the beans was the best... really good taco. I asked if the rings were made in house and was told that they were not but were very good, I reluctantly went ahead and ordered them and they're by far the best frozen onion rings I've ever had; they were great! I'll definitely try this place again.
