Mediterranean food, mmm, super yummy. this place will surprise you. the service was very sociable and kind. it has an awesome feel to it. they have so many good reviews for a reason.
Fine place for quality Mediterranean food. two thumbs up for this place. fast and courteous service. prices are appropriate.
My fiancé and I each got the Mediterranean platter. It was EXACTLY what we had in mind, very fresh and tasty. More than enough food for a filling lunch. We will definitely be back.
One of, if not, the best restaurant with this flavor palate in KC. I had the beef gyro platter and my wife had the chicken biryani. We both ate till we were beyond stuffed. We will be revisiting soon and often.
We started off the meal with a lovely hummus appetizer, which was very creamy and topped with olive oil, sumac, and schug, a chili/garlic paste. It was served with a bread that was somewhere between pitas and naan which was chewy and tasty. There was a large drink menu from which my wife chose a pomegranate sangria, which was refreshing and delicious. Our very attentive server took our order for the chicken shawarma (for spouse) and chicken curry for me, with lentil soup as our sides. The soup had a creamy texture and a great smell, but lacked curry. I added some lemon and my spouse added a pinch of salt and we were both satisfied. The shawarma was tender and was accompanied by a yogurt sauce and lettuce, tomato and onion to pair with the generous portion of naan provided. My chicken curry portion was a little small for the price, but was rich in flavor. I had ordered it spicy, which it was, but a little tame for my taste. But together with the saffron rice and naan it made for a wonderful meal. All in all time well spent. We will certainly go again!
