Went for a quick lunch. Enjoyed the chips and salsa and the taquitos were good. Came with beans and rice. I thought the beans were a little salty for my taste. Friend ordered the carnitas platter and loved it. Bring cash and save a little on the bill.
Ok...so they are 2 weeks new. The environment for a mexican restaurant was very sterile. I got the overall motif for the area, but it was way to modern for a mexican restaurant. The service was excellent and the food. The spicy dish was not spicy, i think salsa on the chips was spicier. The fish tacos were excellent, and the kids loved the fried tacos and tortas.
I give this place 20 ⭐ Excellent service and excellent food! Very clean! You have to try it. Everything is very fresh. Low prices. Ask the staff to kick it up a notch for some heat. Pico is amazing! My new go to place for Mexican food!
The food was really good, the modern lighting is a nice touch. Although, it was a bit too bright, I think dimming the lights just a little bit would help a lot, it was so bright I kind of felt like I was in a mattress store. The chorizo cheese dip had a kind of strange aftertaste I can't quite put my finger on, maybe serving it with cilantro or something would make it better, or maybe it was just me, not sure. Margaritas were great, didn't seem low quality at all. It would be great to have more Mexican beers on tap, currently there was just Modelo and some cheap American light beers on tap, having Corona and/or Pacifico on tap would be great. Overall it was great, and will return.
