“We are new to this area and stopped in to taste some local flavor. The Pitchfork did not disappoint. First, the service was amazing. We had a very friendly and attentive server. They have a variety on their menu, but we opted for the buffet. What a variety there as well! If you like smoked meats and catfish with a good choice of tasty sides, don’t miss the Friday night buffet. The ambiance was welcoming, too. A++”

“I really like this golf course. For this area it's very nice, well maintained and can be challenging. Some nice long holes. I give it a 4 star only because it lacks elevation changes and number of bunkers compared to more challenging courses. That does not take away from the course, however. Highly recommend if you've never played it. Hidden gem in Polk County.”

“So it's Friday night on my way home, decide I don't want to cook dinner. Stopped in orderd a pizza and wings. Hawaiian hand tossed pizza and plain chicken wings. Delicious food and great service. “I have been here many times. The have a decent diverse menu with plenty of choices. The prices are reasonable with an average bill around $20-$25 dollars for a couple. The food quality is above average and the service is good. The only drawback is not their fault. Parking is many times difficult and there has been times I went to dinner plan B as I could not find reasonable parking. I recommend you give them a try”

“Food was amazing, best meal I've had in weeks, food was a but expensive by Missouri standards but worth every penny. The waitress we had however took 10 minutes to greet us, checked up on us only once after we ordered even though we were one of three tables in the restaurant. Service was honestly awful but the quality of the food completely made up for it.”
