“Some of the best Mexican food, not just in Missouri or the Midwest, but anywhere. I live in New Mexico, so I'm not short on options for fantastic Mexican cuisine. I still make sure to eat here at least a couple of times every time I come back to Shelby county to visit family. My go-to orders at most Mexican places are burritos, enchiladas, or tamales. Can't go wrong with any of those at Los Perez. My partner is pescatarian and she raved about her shrimp tacos and some of the other vegetarian dishes she's had here. And make sure to ask for some hot sauce. I don't remember seeing it on the menu, but when we asked our waiter last time we were there he said they had some in the back and brought us a cup of it. It was absolutely amazing. We actually asked for a larger container to take some home with us to New Mexico where, again, we're not short on options for this sort of stuff. We wish they sold it in bottles that we could order and have shipped to us. It really is that good.”

“We came up from Kansas City and got lucky to find excellent food just moments from our destination. They have an awesome BUFFET that featured Ribs, Mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, BBQ beans, and much, much more which includes a salad bar! All of this for only $11 bucks (cash only)!! Unreal! the young ladies taking care of the restaurant went from zero to 100 in minutes as we snuck in just before the rush at 1120 or so and watched the place filled up in about 15-20 minutes after that. I cant wait to have a reason to have to return to this area because we are definitely coming back here again!”
