Standard first time visit order. Burnt Ends, Beans & Potato Salad. Meat was superb. Succulent and tender and not either over rubbed or smoked. Taste of the proteins really stood on their own. Beans were done with a light green chili flavor which was nice, but lacked any real depth of flavor. The 'loaded' potato salad was fresh and served cold. The portions were generous and both my wife and I left satisfied with a little to enjoy later.
Well done.
The food and service was fantastic! The tables are nicely spaced out and the place is very clean. I got the chicken wrap and tots. Delicious!! I met a friend her and don't normally like smoked food but what I got was so good! I definitely recommend this restaurant.
Good food, large portions, and fast service. I ordered the smoked turkey plate that came with 2 sides. I got the mac n cheese which was rich and creamy, and loaded potato salad which was very good too. The turkey was very moist and tender. My friend ordered ribs which she said were good as well as the mac n cheese and coleslaw. The coleslaw is the creamy version which my friend said she normally doesn't care for but theirs was very good! Will definitely return.
Had the brisket, pulled pork, sausage, turkey and pulled chicken. All were great! The beans and mac were good. I like my bread more toasted but that is my preference. Tried the original and the apple sauces, both were good. They were running out of items as we ordered but we also visited fairly late on a busy day so this is to be expected at a real BBQ place. The staff was super nice and the food came out quickly. There is plenty of room for larger groups.
Fantastic! We had the Brisket, ribs, jalapeño cheddar sausage, baked beans, loaded potato salad, and mac n cheese.... we also tried all 5 BBQ sauces. All were great.. I'm not a fan of horse radish but their house radish BBQ sauce was good too. Service was friendly and quick. We went about 1pm and they were out of a few things but still had plenty to choose from. Pardon the pic of half eaten food...it was just that good. If you want ribs that fall of the bone and don't need BBQ sauce.... go here!
