Honey Pit Smokehouse

My husband and I ate dinner here last night. We waited 10 to 15 minutes for the sandwiches while already having our hot sides. We both thought that it'd be better to serve the hot sides along with the main course so as not to get cold. Also, serve the entire table foods at the same time.

Honey Pit Smokehouse is easily one of the top BBQ places to eat in St.Louis. I have had Sugar Fire, Pappys Smokehouse, etc. Honey Pit blows them all out of the water with their Tender Ribs, Brisket, Burgers, Chicken Wings, Sides, Sauces, Deserts, and Pepsi products and Cold beer to wash it all down. I highly recommend you stop by Kirkwood the next time you want some great southern BBQ.

Great food. Great atmosphere. Awesome employees. Handicapped accessible. Mid range prices but the food is well worth it. Great portion sizes. All you can drink beverages. Clean restrooms. Helpfull staff. Thanks Charlie for suggesting about the rewards program. Looking forward to going back. They also have weekend specials. Great experience. Thanks crew. We had a couple of the pulled pork sandwiches and they were fully cooked, nice, and moist. Great job guys.
There was a birthday party going on inside, but there was plenty of tables and chairs even for our party of 8. Awesome.

Solid BBQ performance. The day I was there they had burnt ends as a special that day. Definitely good stuff. Tried the three meat combo with brisket, pulled pork, and ribs. The pulled pork was on the dry side and the brisket was missing some of that beautiful smoky flavor. However the ribs, man they were good.

Would stick with the ribs or burnt ends next time.

Great quality meats with a variety of side choices. I really enjoyed the Carolina pulled pork sandwich. Their vinegar coleslaw pairs well with the flavorful pork. I also liked my side of broccoli salad. The restaurant is nice and casual too with friendly staff. I will definitely be going back to try more of the menu.
