“This place opened a few months ago near our house. Today we decided to stop in. We started with the Tiger Fruit Tea which was a combination of passion fruit, mango and lime. Very refreshing and not too sweet. Cucumber salad was fantastic with hints of vinegar and soy. Pork fried dumplings had a nice flavor but not much broth inside. The steamed beef dumplings were definitely our favorite. Deep rich broth and the texture was spot on. We definitely enjoyed the steamed dumplings more than the fried. The restaurant is extremely clean and it was nice to watch them make the dumplings in front of you. Service was excellent and staff was really friendly. I would have rated this place 5 stars if the fried dumplings had more broth inside of them. Can’t wait to visit this place again!!🖤🖤”

“Good first experience! I work nearly across the street a few days a week so it's always great to have new lunch options. I ordered at the counter and was given an accurate wait time for my food. I got the sandwich (Nashville hot) with fries & ranch dipping sauce and brought back to eat in my office. All were good! The fries are a pretty unusual cut that I was a bit suspicious of, but they were delicious. I love Nashville Hot Chicken while I wouldn't call this the best in St. Louis, I would say it's a very good an adequate execution of the dish. I'll be back regularly, I'd imagine, and look forward to trying the wings & tenders as well as some of the sides. Welcome to Kirkwood!”

“Conveniently located cafe in island strip mall between East and West bound lanes of Manchester Road. Sandwiches and salads are the main draw. I usually end up here for a business lunch as everyone can usually find something on the menu that is appealing or at least not objectionable. All that said, they do a reasonably good job with the food and they have several iced teas on tap. You'll wait for your food during peak times. They shout your name when it's ready. There is indoor and outdoor seating and drive thru.”

We had them cater our wedding at The Bluffs on Broadway this past Saturday, October 9th and everything was incredible! Pulled pork, chicken, brisket, mac-n-cheese, zucchini squash veggie dish and salad were our choices. All through the day, our guests told us that it was the best food they’d ever had at a reception!! “First tried Chicken Out chicken while at a Blues game this season (2021). Super yummy! I saw that they opened this Kirkwood location, which is way closer to my house, so I was stoked to try it out. The Delmar location had shared a 'secret' menu item [Cheesy Chicken Fries] and I rolled the dice, asking the cashier if they had it there. Yes they did and it was GREAT! It was a ton of food - see picture - but was made fresh to order. Giant chunks of tenders, fries, bacon (BACON!) and oodles of cheese sauce. Lots of other goodies on the menu, so I can't wait to go back. Do yourself a favor and swing on by. :)”

I was with a Client he's not all functioned due to age and natural causes, and he didn't have mask fully on and a member at entry gave a direct order of "put your mask on." I understand covid-19 protocol yet there's a way to communicate and that's not a tone and wordage to use I feel towards anyone. If you wouldn't talk to your Mother like that, you shouldn't talk to a customer in that way. The food was tremendous.”

“While Bandana's used to be an inexpensive place to grab a meal in the restaurant itself, to bring home or even to take on a picnic, it now pales in comparison to the newer smoke houses like Salt & Smoke or even SmokeeMoes. Unfortunately Bandana's meats are dry, only slightly smokey in flavor and the side dishes are unimpressive and unimaginative. I would much rather have a moist entree that is flavored by its own juices and smoke rather than adding bottled processed barbecue sauce. It will certainly do in a pinch or if you're in the immediate neighborhood or maybe travelling and jumping off the highway for a quick bite but in order to remain competitive, they're really going to need to revisit preparation and more interesting and imaginative side dishes and desserts. And for heavens sake, add Burnt Ends to the menu! :)”

“Cracker Barrel is such a nice place for breakfast and most recently i tried dinner there. I suggest arriving before 5 (4:30 is best) as the line gets pretty bad at prime eating times. Other than that enjoy, the Pepper and lemon seasoned rainbow fish is delicous and filling.”
