Bolyard's Meat & Provisions

This place definitely lives up to the hype. I had the Frisco melt (with an egg) and the tallow fries. Both were amazing. My wife had the breakfast hash bowl and that was also great. The meat selection looked great and reasonably priced as well. I will be certainly be coming back.

One of the better butchers around is also a great place to grab a sandwich or burger - in fact their burger is amazing (not that the Turkey or other sandwiches are not delicious). The fries are amazing and who does not appreciate the little touches like homemade ketchup. If in the Maplewood area Bolyard’s is worth the stop.

It’s THE only sustainable meat I can find within about 300 miles in any direction of my loc. By “sustainable” I mean: good for the earth, the animal AND the human. I loove that they practice, “good animal husbandry.” The animals live as freely, as good AND as natural as possible. It’s as close to “organic” meat I can find outside of already ground pound at Whole Foods.

The other thing I absolutely love about this spot is that —it’s a “Whole Animal Butcher Shop” w/ a lil deli & eatery inside. Everything is lit but I really fw their smash burger, extra pickles, fries & crisp beer 🍺

The lines are sick during lunch so skip the lunch rush. I order mine ahead most of the time to save time bc it’s always bumpn here.

It’s worth the prices, down to the last bite. Only the brave sit at the butcher window and eat !!! It’s wild — get some !

I called ahead to see if they had beef tallow for home fries, and they set aside their last pint in stock for me. I then got their Smashburger with tallow fries and fermented housemade ketchup for lunch. Excellent customer service and kitchen staff. They also take EBT on refrigerated items in case anyone is interested. Always happy to support local farmers.

Our burgers, fries and roast beef dip were delicious. Am told the smash burgers were a hit!!
Simple easy to please menu was great for a change, so many restaurants have huge menus.
Can’t recommend this place highly enough!
