Schlafly Bottleworks

Great patio and pretty good food (for a brewery). I'm not head over heels for any Schlafly beers, but they always have a variety and their 5-beer flights are a good option to keep it interesting. I haven't done the free brewery tour yet, but am looking forward to it. They're offered daily at 12, 1, 2 and 3 p.m. They also have a cool beer school you can pay for with a group and a lot of great merch. Schlafly Bottleworks is a good place to take company when you want to show off the St. Louis microbrewery scene.

Pros: Great beer!
Cons: The bar area is incredibly lame and doesn't match the rest of the brewery at all in terms of character, vibe, setting, etc. It felt like sitting at a bar in an Applebees (insert other lame, corporate suburban setting with no character).

Nice food, very good service and friendly staff. The only reason I’ve not given 5 stars is because some of the food was a little greasy. We went for lunch. The fries were fine but I and my husband had sandwiches, and they were both greasy. Overall I liked it though and would go again.

I dont do the Google comment stuff, but this place was pretty amazing. Their selection is different and diverse and the food was absolutely delicious.

I thought it was going to be a hunch of snobby beer people, but it was down to earth and fun.

Good food and great beer. The staff and space is wonderful as well. I highly recommend getting one of their flights as there are so many great options. You can either get a 5 beer flight, or if your daring, a flight of the entire tap selection. I'm.from out of town and will come back at my next opportunity.
