Fitz's

Always love Fitz's for the root beer, we enjoyed the good too this time (bourbon burger, river city burger, blackened chicken salad, and the chili). Service can be hit or miss and today started out very attentive, food came out very quickly, only downside was it was very difficult to flag down our server to get refills on the bottomless draft root beer. My father even tried raising his mug for over 5 minutes, until I found another employee who said he'd get our server. We did finally get the refills, but my dad was practically finished with his meal. We ended our lunch with a Mt Everest float and strawberry shake, shared amongst the group and both devoured.

This is a great place to eat and a local legend in St Louis. Frosted mugs of their famous root beer, or an outrageous float. You can see the absolute joy on people's faces when the server brings one to the table. Get a table by the window and watch the soda being bottled is pretty cool, too. Great selection of sandwiches and selections. Buy a T shirt on the way out!

A great little place. So many sodas to try. The food is reasonably priced & they have something for everyone. Make sure to save room for one of their yummy floats! Nice place to bring the family. Only thing I was sad about is that the bottling machine was already shut down for the night.

This place was amazing! The food was excellent and the soda some of the best I've ever had. Our server absolutely great as well. I wish I could remember his name to give him a shout out. Highly recommend this place.

The wait staff was amazing. The soda was fantastic when combined with ice cream to make a float. The bartender was very patient and helpful in explaining the dessert items. She also offered to sample like 20 different soda flavor. I found my favorite flavor here. I had a root beer float and definitely will come back for more. I did not order food during this visit. And I was able to judge based on others' order. It looks fresh and very appetizing. Definitely will try the next time.
