Dewey's Pizza

Good solid neighborhood pizza chain. Very creative toppings and sauce combos. Seasonal choices great and good salads too.

Dewey's is one of our favorites. They offer a great variety and always have an interesting seasonal pizza to try. Their other strength is their salads. The greens are always fresh. However, what really sets Dewey's apart is the customer service. Great example with this visit. The manager brings one of our pizzas out, which was oddly shaped. He proceeds to tell us that they have another one in the oven for us and asks whether we would like it brought to the table when it is done or simply boxed up to take home. I know other places that would have simply served the pizza and waited for us to complain, which we probably wouldn't have done. This happened with us one other time and is a reason that Dewey's is our first choice for pizza in the area. Great food and great customer focus.

Everything is tempered by the fact that it was take out. I did enjoy the meatball pizza. The cheese was a little scant. I enjoy Thin Crust. We also had a Mexican type of pizza. I did not enjoy quite as much. The kids like the cheese pizza. I did not see the bill, but I understand it to be a bit pricey at times. I'm sure it will be much better hot and fresh in the store.

Dewey's pizza is a good place to grab a pizza and a beer. I've been here countless times and they are consistently good. Nothing extremely special but normally consistent. They have overcooked the pizza only once. Their seasonal pizzas are really tasty and unique. Just a heads up they only serve beer and wine, no liquor.

DELICIOUS pizza and the service is always amazing, their wait staff always seems to work as a team. They definitely have a straw code because they never have to confirm what you're drinking before they fill your cup. It took me years to figure this out. Keep it up.
