Drunken Fish - Westport Plaza

I've gone to this location for years. Quality is still good, just not as good as it has been. Not as good as it has been in the past. Not sure what's changed. Atmosphere is still fantastic.

Obviously a popular place, Drunken Fish is hidden in what appears to be an old office building that now hosts several theatre/comedy clubs along with a radio station whose glass enclosed studios provide an interesting view as you try to find the restaurant in the dimly lit building. I wasn't sure we were in the right spot and was cautiously ready to turn back until I finally spotted the signage. Once inside, the place was busy, a haven for those who had ventured up the narrow escalators and dark theatres. Our waiter was busy but was prompt and business like. Our food arrived quickly and was good. We were tired from travel on a long trip, so it wasn't a social engagement we were looking for. The food was a welcome change to the typical travelers food one finds in normal retail fronts.

Delicious food and love their happy hour! Highly recommend the edamame hummus appetizer and superman roll - really, everything there is wonderful. Go with a group so you can order a bunch of rolls to share

Great food, really good price if you make it to happy hour. I sat at the bar. Jose was great. I would definitely recommend this place.
