“The good: machines and score keepers are modern and performed well. All the lanes looked like they were in good shape. The whole place has a new feeling. There is also a pro-shop on site with a decent variety of equipment. The staff were all willing to help and work hard. Neutral: I'm surprised the gutter guards weren't automatic. Playing with kids in a group is mostly seamless when gutter guards switch on and off between bowlers. The bad: prices are outrageous. I hope you remember to bring your own shoes because renting them is about $6/pair. Getting a simple pizza isn't cheap either. I just don't approve of the prices. There are other bowling alleys that seem to do it much better and have a warmer atmosphere with good prices, which keeps you coming back time after time. You shouldn't have to run a special to offer competitive pricing. That should just be the norm.”

With that said the only reason I didn’t give it five stars is because the kitchen was closed Wednesday late afternoon. The bartender mentioned that is due to the lack of personnel willing to work. “My favorite Starbucks in St. Louis. It’s hard to even tell it’s there from the outside, and there’s no drive-thru, but it’s big and open on the inside and – most importantly – has a Clover brewer and Starbucks Reserve coffee available. I got a venti Hawaii K’au, which was about $7. Pretty pricey for a plain ol’ coffee, but this is a Starbucks Reserve coffee that’s about $36 for a bag. Treat yo self! It was very tasty. Since this Starbucks is in Westport, parking can sometimes be tricky. Thankfully, there’s a set of several (4-6?) Sports reserved for Starbucks 15 minute parking. They’re in the first row, closest to Starbucks.”

“Love having this place right down the street! What an awesome addition to this area. We’ve been here four times since they opened less than a month ago and I become more impressed every time. Their cupcakes are AMAZING, first of all. So soft and yummy and they look like art. The honey almond is sooooo good. But what is at least as good as their cupcakes is the breakfast and lunch food they serve! Unbelievably delicious food for a crazy good price. And the portions are HUGE!! “Ice cold beer and hot delicious food...what more could one want? Oh, yes, service with a smile too! Seriously, had a really huge portion served to me of grilled chicken caesar salad, and burger, fries, and beer.
