They were finally open on a night I drove by. Ecstatic!
The staff was friendly from the moment you come in the door. So happy the sides are meat-free. They were very helpful in answering the 2 questions I had.
I got the brisket with potato salad and baked beans and peach peach cobbler. The brisket was moist and tender, and quite a large serving, I'llbe having a sandwichfor lunch tomorrow from the leftovers. The baked beans and potato salad were good. The peach cobbler was fantastic! My only complaint is how much you pay for the small serving size of cobbler. But the large serving size I got for the brisket compensates that.
I'll definitely be back!
Tip the staff!
We got the burnt ends and pork steak plates. The burnt ends were amazing, the pork steak was also good. The sides: the coleslaw fantastic, the beans great! The green beens and mac & cheese we're good enough. The winner of the night the BBQ sauce and desserts!
The green beans were gross! They taste like all they did was add a lot of black pepper and let them cook in it. Could give you a scoop of potato salad with the sandwich.
Overall, it was great. The burnt ends and the ribs are the highlight to me. The sides were good enough. Some of the best sauce I've had in a while.
