I don't know how "authentic" it is but I guarantee you will find nothing but the best quality food of this type in the metro area. If the local Asian community who swamp this place are any indication, this is the top spot for leagues around. All I know is I've never had such amazing and adventurous Chinese food. The atmosphere is electric as dish after dish emerge from the kitchen. A brilliant food gem.

This is an excellent place to grab some family-style Chinese dishes. They have a pretty extensive menu, so it's not hard to find a couple things that you'll want. Their noodles are very good. The spicy fish and sweet and sour pork are some of the highlights in the meat category. They find the perfect combination of spice, crispiness, and juiciness. It's a smaller place that can get quite busy, but it's definitely worth the wait, and service is very fast once you're seated. Cate Zone is certainly one of the best places to get Chinese food in St. Louis!

Wow this places family sized portions are lovely! The Chang spicy chicken had the perfect amount of heat with a delightful crunch in each bite. The Hot boiled fish, was so savory and every bite melted like butter, the dish has a base of bean sprouts giving the whole dish a pleasant texture. I'll definitely be sharing this spot with friends, the more people you bring the more dishes you all can try!

Unbelievable good. Very unique dishes nothing like your traditional Chinese dishes. Fresh high quality. Even service was good. Expect a good 30min wait on busy night. But worth the wait. Try the Hot Crispy fish, sizzling eggplant, Cumin lamb.

This place is definitely worth a visit. The food is amazing and their menu offers a variety. I came here with my family for Sunday lunch, the wait wasn’t too long (about 15 minutes). Service was fast and friendly, they were attentive and the atmosphere was pleasant. It’s a small restaurant but it could fit a table for six adults, a high chair and stroller. They were very accommodating, and we will definitely be back.
