I miss the Chesterfield location and think the employees and manager from there should all come to downtown and take over for a big service and class upgrade. The menu was not the same as well.
My food was fantastic, I ate the lasagna and the waitress was nice, however I took a client here that was out of town and it just didn’t have that same impression. Maybe some tablecloths and napkins and a little more smile and at your service attention. I love the local feel and pictures. Definitely casual and affordable and fun to hang with friends.
A friend recommended this restaurant and we absolutely loved it. Great place to watch the Cardinals game and the food was fabulous. We are definitely going back for more the next time we are in town.
Oh yea! Red sauce (was taught by some friends of northern extraction and Italian heritage that it is correctly referred to as 'gravy'? ..... That dog don't hunt down south... I digress) is among the best had anywhere ever. Good service. Atmosphere is a slice of life. History on the walls. The souls that have passed through the doors have all contributed to a one of a kind place.
This place is EXCELLENT! The staff, the ambiance and food are all out of this world. Walking distance from the baseball stadium. Prices are very reasonable and the portions are large. The place itself is full of memorabilia and pictures of local celebrities and athletes from all sports teams. Truly a very enjoyable experience. Will certainly return
The staff was wonderful. Although they were working they still had smiles on their faces and looked happy to help. We got lucky being sat because we had a party of 8 without a reservation so if you want to eat here call first! Anyway, everyone in our group seemed to like their food except me. I got the Caesar salad and the toasted ravioli appetizer. The salad was good but the raviolis were gross. They were toasted perfectly but the meat inside reminded me of cat food in a can. It was a weird texture and a weird taste so I wouldn’t recommend ordering them. They carry a vanilla flavored light beer called love gun from a local brewery and it’s pretty tasty. The restaurant was clean and the decor was aged but it worked. The waitstaff was great and the cooks were fast. I had a nice time and so did my group.
