For as fancy as the environment and as much hype, I thought the food would be a little better. My food was actually somewhat lukewarm, but overall not bad. It's very intimate and nice if you're trying to impress I guess.
I would probably give it another shot. Maybe it deserves 3.5 instead of 3.
The service was outstanding and the food was great. The manager was visiting patrons and thanking them for coming in, something that is missing when you move away from the hill. The shrimp scampi was different than most I have had in the area and so much better. More visits in my future!
When people think of great Italian food, fine dining and St. Louis, THIS is what people are thinking about. Whether you are hear to try the toasted ravioli, their delicious Baked Spaghetti or the house made gnocchi, you cannot go wrong. Throw in some cannoli for dessert, and you have a meal to remember!
We had an amazing time. The food was absolutely delicious, but nothing rivals the service. Our waitress was friendly and super accommodating of my husband's gluten free diet. Our water glasses were never empty and food came out quickly. We will absolutely be back.
Not my first visit here, more specifically to this outlet. Amazing Italian fare paired with excellent service and a wide wine selection. Few favourites from my visits, the Crab Bisque, flavoursome, creamy, and a meal by itself.
The buttered prawns were a delight and the Chicken Rigatoni I tried was subtle with flavours & super delicious.
Beautiful ambience, especially the outdoor seating during summer, needs an early booking though.
One thing I regret is that, in all my visits I get so stuffed up with the entree’s & main, I never get to their selective dessert selection, waiting for my next visit to US to check the desserts off my list.
