Speaking as a non-vegan, the vegan buffet is amazing! There’s something for everyone there, all hot and as freshly prepared as a buffet can be. The naan was warm and soft with just a little crisp around the edges. The service is as wonderful as the food. I was there with family celebrating my mother’s birthday, and everyone on staff were so attentive and kind. They even put on the birthday song and sang along with us while we ate rice pudding. I can’t recommend this place enough. It’s affordable, delicious, and full of friendly and caring staff. 10/10!
Stayed at Washington University for some summer classes and while there HAD to come to Gokul for their Monday night vegan buffet every week. Incredibly delicious. Every time I went I had a small group of classmates that would come with, so even omnivores love it! The staff would remember us and made us feel like we were eating at their home, the place was so full of love. I will be coming here every single time I visit STL from KC from now on.
Ultimate destination for Indian food..
Loved their dinner buffet. Lots of different items in all categories- appetizers, deserts, main course..
It’s a 100% vegetarian restaurant, so without any hesitation and doubts vegetarians can enjoy the food here. Ambience is really nice and price wise also it’s a reasonable place to go.
If you're thinking "I'm not a vegetarian, why would I go to a vegetarian restaurant?", you should reconsider! Gokul is amazing. I went there for the first time and had the Saturday buffet (non-vegan). The woman who greeted us, I presume the owner, was super kind and knowledgeable. She told us about the things in the buffet and, since it was our first time there, prepped an appetizer for us that was absolutely delicious. Everything from the buffet was fantastic, and I had a few new things I'd never had at any other Indian buffet. And the cost is great - 13.99! After we finished, the same woman walked us through their normal menu so when we come in another time, we can re-order our favorites. Will definitely be back soon.
