We were camping at St. Joe State Park and headed up here for dinner Saturday. It was delicious! Honestly, the amount of food and variety you get for the money is cr@zY! The fried chicken was moist and the outside was crunchy and flavorful. There were also bbq ribs, chili, beef veggie soup, salad bar, potato salad, slaw, macaroni salad, sausage and kraut, stewed tomatoes, mashed potatoes (not homemade but still good), White gravy so good I could have eat it with a spoon and it was totally homemade, brown gravy, super creamy Mac & cheese, green beans, corn, rolls, meatloaf which was very moist, greens, the best bread pudding I’ve had in my life and I’ve eaten a lot of bread pudding, peach cobbler, apple cobbler, ice cream, coconut cake and more! I would sooo recommend wearing your stretchy pants. Do some things, like the veggies, come from a can? Yes, just like it is at most restaurants but they add their twist to it so it tastes like it was made with love. But I can tell you, this place is wonderful and it’s like my grandma Lena is back there in the kitchen cooking! We will be back for sure!
