The people are very friendly and nice very welcoming. The food is great you never have to wait a long time to get your food. This is my third time there and i will be going back again. The atmosphere is great you can get breakfast at the Diner and get a tour of the fox

Really enjoyed the food and the restaurant. My salad was great, the burgers were good, and the kids meal was served in a real cool cardboard boat. A real hit!

Stage Left Diner is one of the few options for eating close to the Fox Theater, the Sheldon, and Powell Hall. The location is great but otherwise it's pretty middle-of-the-road. The restaurant can be packed around a performance time and service can grind to a crawl. The food is average diner fare... I got a burger and jalapeno tots. The burger was dry and the tots had very little jalapeno flavor.

Their name identifies them correctly: it's a grill, a diner. The menu is limited (burgers, sandwiches, salads) and the food was pretty average. Price wise, it seems very reasonable until you discover the entree does not come with a side (like $3 for fries). I thought I would be adventurous and try the only standout menu item -- a fish sandwich -- which was $12 ... excessive for what I got. Overall, after eating I could barely recall what I ate because it simply wasn't remarkable. It's busy because it's next to the Fox and there aren't a lot of eateries within walking distance.
