Loved the food and had plenty to take home. I would highly recommend to go and enjoy the food.
My family was in from out of town and wanted Thai. The place I usually go to in the Loop was closed, so we went here. The place is very cute, though a bit musty, probably from all the recent rain. The service was gracious and perfectly paced. The food was delicious and plentiful. All the standards and many other choices. We ordered way too much and our kind server not only packed it up for us but then bundled it up so there was no spillage. Its a bit of a drive for me but well worth it and my family enjoyed it very much!!
Never disappointed. I have been away from home (Thailand) far 14 years, Thai Country Cafe makes me feel like I am home again. This is a great place to get authentic papaya salad Lao Style with salted carbs. This place has variety dishes from different part of Thailand; the southern part of Thailand (แกงเหลือง, แกงไตปลา), north eastern (isan), the curry (Bangkok) are on point. You must visit the restaurant and taste of for yourself.
Nothing fancy , decent prices, good food, had adequate service, but was sat in a tight space. Could loose clutter for more elbow room. Also note that if you start drinking the chili sauce like a boss like myself, they will discreetly remove all other holders and sauce from the surrounding tables. Lol.
Don't accept bear bucks (anymore?). Delicious food with a big variety of options and big portions. Been here several times and it never dissapoints.
