Food, service, and atmosphere were great except for the taxidermy turtle heads over the bar creeped me out. Next menu change I'd consider renaming the Chuck Berry burger. Nothing with brown chunks should be named after him unless it comes with lemonade. Thanks for investing in that neighborhood. It's great to see the difference the businesses are making there.
OHHHH ... I've no words for how impressed we were by the decor, staff and food !! This was a first visit here since the renewed interior and exterior. This was a favorite food destination in it's previous incarnation, but ... Seriously ..... WOW !! Everything was so good. The service was quick and attentive. Great Job Folks !! This is a Winner !! Thank You !! 😊
Really enjoyed this visit! The first that I say outside. They have what they call" camp fire" on the patio. It's a communal space with the fire in the middle and large tree stumps for seats. Had a great hot toddy suggested by the bar tender. Our table was ready inside so we went into their cool art deco space. Excellent smash burger with garlic cream cheese the best gluten free bun!. All in all a great visit.
Fantastic atmosphere, tasty food. The Campground is a delight and dog friendly too! A great addition to the neighborhood. Parking is tricky, but we can't wait to visit again.
Delicious cocktails. Great atmosphere. Average food. They actually have a campfire in the outdoor patio, which is a nice touch and brings back a lot of fond memories. Indoor seating is decorated classy but the animal trophies kinda throws you off.
Tandoori wings could have used a bit of salt. Burgers were smashed with a great crust but could have used a bit more salt. Rosemary fries were delicious.
In summary, great bar with potential for better food.
