The Train Shed at Union Station

Looking for a place to host a group dinner and wasn’t disappointed. The restaurant is a very cool place with a great vibe. Awesome views of the water, fire show and ferris wheel. The menu isn’t extensive, but good restaurants don’t need fifty entrees. Do what you do well. We had the chicken and salmon, both of which were very good and with a great presentation. The chocolate cake for dessert is a must have. We were seated promptly and had a great experience with our server. Some reviews have rated low scores over the service. I would attribute that to having just opened recently, the staff was getting their processes tuned in while being barraged by customers as the new aquarium and Ferris wheel were opening about the same time. Will definitely be back!

We went on a Saturday night, and were seated immediately. The place was about 75% occupied. Service was really good (Leanna). She kept our water and sodas filled and gave good suggestions on the menu.
Certain things on the menu were good, others not as much.
The Caesar salad was beautiful, with real anchovies. The beet salad had about a teaspoon of small bits of beets in it and the greens in it were very bitter (not recommended). The salmon was delicious (per two people in my party). Fried clams appetizer were "okay." Numerous draft beers on the menu, but my first choice was not available. The pizzas looked good, and were quite large. Enough for two not-so-hungry adults to share. We did not get any dessert.
Overall, I'm giving it 5 stars because the things that were good were REALLY good, and large. the price was right, too

We don’t write reviews often, but felt we had to as everything was beyond expectations. This was the second time we came to Train Shed and it was even better than the first - if at all possible. Excellent service, fabulous music and atmosphere, very creative menu and a truly delicious meal. Highly recommend! Got our ???????? ???????? ????!

I met a friend for a business dinner down here last night. He mentioned it was brand new-I am thinking hell no ! WAS I WRONG. We came in and were sat immediately. After they take our drink order a Manager comes over and asks-could we move you down a few seats-I will buy your first round-well heck yes. We order--drinks come out great. We order the steak and me the half chicken. It took maybe a half hour or so-another Manager comes over and says sorry for the long delay-wasn't long at all-we said no big deal we are just chilling-yep, she offers another round...nice...food comes out-his steal was perfectly rare and tasted great. My chicken in this picture--lord goodness. A half chicken, perfectly cooked, with fingerling potatoes that we excellent, and a light basallmic glaze that was outta this world. I don't do reviews but this place is gonna knock it outta the park. We paid and came back after the game and same super service. Your team there is great.
