Jack Henry’s at Thousand Hills

I was excited to dine at Jack Henry’s as I’ve heard nothing but great things. Mathew took my order at the bar, and I decided to try their Grilled Chicken Sandwich. It’s surprisingly difficult to find a “great” chicken sandwich these days, but this one far exceeded my expectations. The chicken was seasoned beautifully, the tomato, onions, and lettuce were fresh and crisp. I decided on the coleslaw as my side, and nearly finished it off before touching the sandwich because it was so good. Not only did Mathew ensure I was taken care of, Summer recommended I try the chipotle ranch with the sandwich, and I HIGHLY recommend you do as well.

All around a great experience, with a wonderful, and friendly staff. I will definitely be coming back!

We stopped in after 5 on a Sunday afternoon after spending the day at Silver Dollar City. The restaurant was not crowded... maybe 2 tables seated and no one at the bar. We decided to eat at the bar, so we seated ourselves. After being greeted by a woman seated at the bar who appeared to be the manager, she moved to the end of the bar and engaged some other employees in conversation for several more minutes. The bartender arrived from the kitchen with a to go order a few minutes later for one of the employees, and took care of an additional special order for something the manager told him to add to the order, ringing it up and then taking payment. All of this happens before we have even been given menus. We could have been deciding on our drinks and our food, but we were kind of being ignored, so that's the reason I gave only a 4 on the service rating. Once Matt finally gave us our menus and took our orders, the service was great, and we enjoyed the food very much. My husband got the meatloaf and I got the shrimp and grits. Both were well seasoned and served very hot from the kitchen. Shrimp can be overcooked, but these were cooked perfectly, and the meatloaf was moist and very flavorful, as were the sides. We will be back, but we want to remind the manager that it only takes a second to hand new guests a menu while they wait for the server/bartender to arrive, and people seating themselves at the bar should not be an exception.

This place is amazing. Seriously, I never leave reviews so I didn't think to take pictures until we had already dug into our food. I had the shrimp and cheesy grits, my husband had the BBQ cheddar burger and we got the mozzarella sticks as an appetizer. It all tasted amazing! The mozzarella sticks are huge and should be called mozzarella logs. The manager was very friendly and our waitress(Michelle) was wonderful. We will be back to Branson and we will definitely be coming back here. Also, it was the best priced food around. I paid way more at other restaurants and didn't enjoy the food.

This is a must go too!! The food was outstanding. The best service, ( thank you Karen). And friendly atmosphere. I had the Voo DO shrimp, grilled chicken pasta with a side of collards.
