Buffalo Block Prime Steakhouse

The service and atmosphere were outstanding. The food was kind of disappointing. We had a reservation at 7:30 last night. When we got there we waited for 10 minutes before being seated. The area we were sat in was really quiet and beautiful. It was the perfect atmosphere for a nice date. The server was really professional, but also friendly and nice. She explained everything perfectly. I ordered the French onion soup and it was really good. He ordered the house salad and it was really good. The rolls were also really good. We did wait for our main dishes for quite a while. The steaks and one of our sides were the disappointing part. We both asked for our steaks cooked medium. We went over what we meant by medium with the server and she agreed. When our steaks came out they were wayyy undercooked. They did ask if we wanted to send them back, but we figured at that point we would just eat them. The bacon truffle gorgonzola sauce for the steak was really good. We ordered two sides. The brussels sprout side was undercooked and hard to chew. The garlic mashed potatoes were good. My wine was also really good. Overall the experience was nice, but the food could have been better. We will have to come back and try other dishes, but I would not go here for a steak in the future.

Our waitress was so amazing, friendly and
she gave us a 5 star dinner. It was my son's birthday and my grandson was on leave from the US Navy. All our steaks were perfectly cooked. Awesome experience but pricey.

Every aspect of our meal was amazing. Loved that we weren't rushed through our courses. There was attention to detail in everything from place settings to house churned butter to ensuring our steaks were prepared to our desired temperatures. The table side prepared Caesar salad was a fun experience, leading to a very delicious and fresh salad. The overall experience and quality of the food justifies the price. We would highly recommend to others.
