Can’t get enough of Last Chance Cider Mill! The food, the atmosphere, the variety are unbeatable! I’ve never had a meal I didn’t LOVE here, from the Cider House salad to the Burmese Pork Wrap to the Cuban Sandwich, you can’t go wrong. And don’t miss THE BEST FRIES in the state here!!! Out of the world!!
Probably my favorite spot in Billings. As my husband said, “a cidery has no business having food this good!”
MUST TRY BRUSSELS!!!
I usually get one of the monthly specials - this month, Salmon cakes ($13) and bacon and cheese patties for St Paddy’s. I recommend the Jonathan cider, which is the least sweet.
The atmosphere is incredible too, they can host larger parties and as far as cidery’s go it’s very kid friendly!
Busy on a Saturday night, so about a 20-minute wait. Very chill atmosphere.
The Brussel sprouts on the appetizer menu are FANTASTIC. I'm not usually one to crave sweet veggies, but this was great. Tangy, slightly sweet, and savory. Highly recommend.
The Bison burger was GREAT. Moist, medium done had slight pink which was perfect, the other ingredients added to it were not overbearing on the flavor so you could taste everything. The perfect combination.
The chocolate cheesecake was great. Very smoothe & satisfying.
I absolutely loved their ciders. The pearfection was smooth, wet, & on the sweet side. I also tried their limited cran-apple cider, and that was great, not bitter or tart as I was expecting, just smoothe & slightly sweet.
All of that plus great service from a good-looking waiter, this place was top notch. The staff were kind as my friend and I stayed for a little over 2 hours catching up. They were great!
The only thing that I wasn't impressed by was the salt & vinegar chips. They weren't very vinegar-y but they had salt. Haha
There is a lot to say about Last Chance. I was in town for a little bit, and I saw the sign for the pub crawl , see that review in another post,. I love all things fermented so I was happy to get a flight of some local ciders. While they were too busy , a fork lift was doing dizzying acrobatics in the background, my waitress told us all about the process as we looked at it through the large windows and sat in front of a large fire, on the couch. Ask about why it is called last chance and get several different answers. They use several types of apple varieties, that are local grown. They also supplement the ferment from the best sugar factory across the way. Overall a good experience with good ciders.
This place was the best part of my trip to Montana. The food was incredible. Their cider is amazing. I ordered salmon tacos and had their honey crisp cider. That is the most perfectly balanced cider I have had in my life. Just sweet and tart with a mellow dry finish but absolutely refreshing. This place is highly recommended. Thank you!
