I am so excited to have Latin food back by campus, and this food is delicious. I love the chicken burritos, which are huge. They have really good salsa verde and a very hot red salsa that comes with take out. My favorite thing I have tried is pupasas de loroco, (loroco is like pickled vegetables). They're bomb. I also like to eat there and sit outside on the picnic tables, where you get full table service and a big plate of chips and a few salsas to try while you wait. And they have tamarind Jarritos!
Edit: they are so fast! I only have to wait for maybe 10 min for a takeout burrito.
The lady who waited on me was nice, helpful, and kind! I ordered a chicken burrito and it was massive! Stuffed with wonderful flavored chicken, rice, and beans. I gave an involuntary moan of pleasure when I took my first bite!!! It was amazing! I also loved the chips and salsa she brought to the table while I waited for my food. The sauces ranged from mild to super spicy. A great meal to enjoy!
The only con I had was it is hard to get to the restaurant because of the location and it was noisy because of the highway, but, the food made up for it.
Good Asada tacos. Lime for each one. Red and green sauce to go with it. Both had great flavors. Red was hot, just like I like it. Chips and salsa were great as well. Fresh salsa 🙌 and a bottle of Coke with real sugar.
This place is Fantastic. I could leave it at that, but I won't. The chips were great, always the first good sign of a good Latin restaurant. The people were very friendly and helped us figure out what we wanted. They didn't disappoint. We got some tacos and I had to get a burrito. The tortillas! Oh my The tortillas were so good. I had Al Pastor tacos, my wife had Carne Asada, and we got the little one Chicken. All of the tacos were so good. I'm a big fan of lime with my tacos and they give you an overly generous wedge of lime for each taco (something I did not complain about, there was enough to lime my burrito as well). Their al pastor was seasoned very well. I got a carne asada burrito and it was big and packed with steak and rice and the rest of the yummy things they fit into that thing. We also got their Arroz y leche, a rice dessert that was eaten too fast for me to snag a photo of. The food was so good I had to immediately write this review as I still sit at the table. Will definitely be returning soon. Next time I will be trying those Papusas and Empanadas! You have to try this new gift to Kearney.
So excited to have a permanent, quick-service location for tacos in Kearney again. Even better, they have way more than just tacos. Empanadas, burritos, carne asada, etc. We tried the steak and pork tacos (asked for no onions), empanada, and horchata. The horchata was sweet and homemade, the empanada was delicious and crispy, and the tacos had really thick, satisfying tortillas. The meat had good flavor. We preferred the steak. Entrees came with salsa. The green was hotter than the red. We’ll definitely be back!
