My Tokyo Ramen & Grill

I can’t believe it, a real ramen place in Kearney! We had the fried tofu appetizer which was amazing and then two of the ramen bowls and the katsu chicken bowl. All of which were absolutely amazing. The service was a little slow as it was a full house with only two servers but it is apparent they are new and growing and I would expect this to improve over time. The ambiance is not great but hardly a detraction from the amazing food that until now has been unavailable in this area. We will definitely be back!

Yes yes yes. Finally! The service is wonderful, food is tasty and I gladly tip well when the experience is satisfying every time.
No complaints on pricing because if I don’t feel like paying for service and someone else to cook for me, then I just eat at home!!! I usually spend $20-30.
If you like spicy, they have all levels of spice. If you don’t like spicy, the flavors are very delicious. Fantastic food and service, 10/10!

I'm a fan! This place is excellent! On my first trip last week, I had the Tonkotsu Ramen with pork belly. It was great. The broth was so nicely balanced and flavorful. Just the right amount of salt and spices. I was in a hurry so I didn't get a chance to take photos of that meal, but I do have photos of today's order.

Today, I got the Kimchi Ramen and it surpassed all expectations. Wonderfully hot and spicy broth but not overpowering with pork belly and kimchi. It was fantastic. They use a 10 point scale for heat level. I got a 7 and was not at all overpowered. It seemed just right for me, but I eat really hot food so order accordingly. I also got an order of takoyaki (octopus fritters) and they were excellent at well. I also got a Japanese soda. If you've never had one, they are quite nice and the opening process is fun.

A friend of mine got an app order of Karaage Chicken (not pictured, sadly). If you've never had this, and aren't sure about it, I strongly suggest you take a chance. It was the most delightful Fried Chicken. Crispy and savory with just the right touch of salt, I can say it's the best chicken I've had in quite a few years.

Service excellent. Both servers working today were friendly and polite. Atmosphere is simple, but clean and pleasant. Owner came by to check on us at the table which is always greatly appreciated.

Google goes to 5 and that's what they certainly earned. Personally it's a 10/10 must do again. Just an excellent experience.👍

10/10 Experience! Food was amazing, broth was flavorful and portions were great. Would highly recommend! So excited to have a place like this in Kearney, will be back again.
